1. Parties and purpose

These terms govern the purchase and use of Calers, a personal finance software service available at app.calers.ad, provided by GIRA, SL (NRT L-719243-J, registered at Crta. de Nagol, C/ Camp del Tomasset, núm. 8, AD600 Sant Julià de Lòria, Principat d’Andorra), hereinafter “we” or “us”, to the person who creates an account, hereinafter “you” or “the user”.

To create an account you must expressly accept these terms and the Privacy policy and confirm that you are 18 or over. We record the accepted version and the date. The Cookie policy explains the cookies we use.

2. Description of the service

Calers lets you record and organise accounts, transactions, categories, budgets, savings goals, debts and scheduled transactions, view reports and balance projections, and import and export your data.

Calers is a personal organisation tool. It is not a bank or financial institution: it does not move money, does not connect to your bank accounts, does not grant credit and does not provide financial, tax or investment advice. Any decisions you make based on the information it shows are your own responsibility.

3. Registration and user account

  • To purchase you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account. Let us know immediately at privadesa@calers.ad if you notice any unauthorised use.
  • Your account is personal and may not be transferred to others.

4. Free trial

When you create an account you get a 7-day free trial with access to every feature. The trial does not require any payment method and nothing is charged. When it ends, you need to activate the annual plan to keep using the service; otherwise, access is limited until you do. You can delete your account at any time from your profile.

5. Price and payment

  • The annual plan costs €29 a year, excluding tax. At the time of purchase, the indirect taxes that apply in your country of residence (for example, VAT) are added; Paddle calculates them and shows them to you before you confirm the payment.
  • Sales and payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited, or the relevant company in its group, which acts as our official reseller (Merchant of Record) and is the seller of the subscription. Your purchase is therefore also governed by Paddle’s buyer terms, and Paddle issues your invoice or receipt.
  • The available payment methods are those offered by Paddle in the checkout.

6. Term, renewal and cancellation

  • The subscription lasts one year from the date of purchase and renews automatically for successive annual periods at the current price, unless you cancel it before the renewal date.
  • You can cancel at any time from the app or from the Paddle customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, and you keep access until then.
  • There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.

7. Right of withdrawal and refunds

You have 14 calendar days from the date of any payment (including renewals) to request a full refund, without giving any reason, as set out in the Refund policy. You can make the request from the Paddle customer portal or by writing to us at privadesa@calers.ad.

8. Changes to price and service

We may change the subscription price. Changes do not affect the period already paid, and we will notify you at least 30 days before they apply at renewal, so you can cancel if you do not agree.

Calers is constantly evolving: we may add, improve or remove features, provided this does not substantially reduce the service you purchased during the paid period.

9. Acceptable use

You agree to use Calers lawfully and to manage your personal finances. In particular, you may not:

  • Use the service for unlawful or fraudulent activities.
  • Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data, or circumvent security measures.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, resell or commercially exploit the service without authorisation.
  • Overload the service with automated or bulk requests.

10. Your data

The data you enter in Calers belongs to you. You only authorise us to store, process and display it to the extent necessary to provide the service. You can export it at any time and delete your account from your profile, which erases it in accordance with the Privacy policy.

If your trial or subscription ends and you don’t renew it, we keep your account and data for 12 more months so you can reactivate it or export them. We will email you 30 and 7 days before the deletion date and, if you don’t reactivate it, we will permanently delete it.

We recommend that you regularly export any data you consider important.

11. Availability and support

We take reasonable steps to keep the service continuously available and make automatic backups, but occasional interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates or causes beyond our control. Whenever possible, we will announce scheduled downtime in advance.

For any questions or issues, write to us at privadesa@calers.ad.

12. Liability

We provide the service with due care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Financial decisions you make based on information from the service, or errors in the data you enter or import.
  • Indirect damage, loss of profit or loss of opportunity.
  • Interruptions or errors caused by third parties, force majeure or use of the service contrary to these terms.

In any case, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to it. These limitations do not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and do not affect any rights consumer protection law grants you.

13. Suspension and termination

You may terminate the contract at any time by cancelling your subscription or deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account in the event of a serious breach of these terms or where required by law, with prior notice whenever possible. If we close the service or your account for a reason not attributable to you, we will refund the unused portion of the paid period.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect legal or service changes. We will notify you of significant changes in advance by email or in the app. When these terms or the Privacy policy change, we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you open the app. If you do not agree, you can download your data and delete your account, which also cancels your subscription, without having to accept it.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Principality of Andorra, in particular Law 20/2014 of 16 October and Law 13/2013 of 13 June on effective competition and consumer protection. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Andorra, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights granted to you by the law of your country of residence.

Before filing any claim, we invite you to write to us at privadesa@calers.ad so we can try to resolve it amicably.
