Online banking Log in to online banking on a computer and follow this path:

1. Contas à ordem
2. Saldos e movimentos
3. Consultar
4. Excel
5. Save the file to your computer or phone.

• The “Excel” option actually downloads a CSV file. That’s fine: Calers reads it just the same.
• The file starts with a few lines of account information before the transactions. Calers skips them automatically.

2Import it into Calers

1. In Calers, open Import data and choose the file you’ve just downloaded.
2. In field mapping, check which column is the date, the amount and the description, and choose the account the transactions should go to.
3. Import: your transactions are ready to categorise and to show up in your reports.

Banks change their menus often: if you can’t find an option, look for similar names (“Export”, “Download”, “Transactions”) or check your bank’s help pages. Bank names are trademarks of their owners, who are not affiliated with Calers.
